What Candlebook collects, why, and the choices you have.
01What we collect
Account details (name, email), read-only exchange data (fills, positions, balances, funding and fees), public wallet addresses you add, notes and tags you write, and basic device and usage data to keep the app working.
02What we never collect
Trading or withdrawal permissions, private keys, seed phrases, or card numbers. Payments are handled by the App Store or Google Play.
03How we use it
To build your journal, calculate stats and Trading Health, sync accounts and send alerts you turn on. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
04API key security
Keys are encrypted with AES-256 at rest and in transit, stored apart from account data, and never displayed after saving.
05Sharing
Only with providers that help run Candlebook (hosting, email), under contract, or with authorities when the law requires it.
06Deleting your data
Delete your account any time in Menu → Profile. Journal data is erased within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.
07Your rights
Access, export, correct or delete your data from the app or by email. EU and UK users have GDPR rights, including objecting to processing.
